This week (and next, when nonono dammit, IF we lose Saturday) the streaks and our own beaten silly psyches tell us to yet again temper hopes for bowl eligibility and it’s hard to argue logically against this:
- The Huskers are 0-10 in their last 10 meetings vs. Wisconsin.
Since 2012, our record against Wisconsin makes Tom Osborne’s vs Barry Switzer look enviable. Transfer Russell Wilson and the Badgers welcomed the Huskers to the B1G with a 48-17 thrashing.
The next season, the Huskers avenged this by coming back from a 27-10 deficit for 30-27 victory.
