As the Huskers prepare to take on USC today, they do so looking for their first win against the program with whom their record currently sits at 0-4-1. Admittedly, grabbing their first win in that series pales significantly compared to a quest which is becoming downright Don Quixote-ish, that being the Huskers’ attempt to become bowl-eligible for the first time in eight years.
However, I saw their most recent meeting occurred in the 2014 Holiday Bowl. In this particular game, a 4th quarter Huskers rally fell just short 45-42 as the teams both blew up their PS4 controllers rolling up over 500 yards of offense each.
