COLUMBUS, Ohio — The dream of winning back-to-back national championships will still be out there for another Nebraska volleyball team, but those dreams dashed for the 2016 team when the Huskers were swept by Texas 25-18, 25-23, 25-21 in the national semifinals on Thursday at Nationwide Arena.
The Huskers end the season with a 31-3 record.
So Texas will play Stanford in the finals on Saturday. The No. 9 Cardinal upset No. 1 Minnesota in four sets in the first semifinal.
