Jazz Sweet had 12 kills, and Lauren Stivrins a perfect hitting match with 10 kills on 10 attempts, to lead the third-ranked Nebraska volleyball team to a 25-19, 25-12, 25-23 win against Northwestern on Friday in Evanston, Illinois.
Northwestern looked like it would force a fourth set, but Nebraska erased the Wildcats’ 20-16 lead in the third set before winning each of the final five points of the match.
