Losing to the top-ranked wrestler at his weight in overtime, on a single escape point no less, bothered Aaron Studebaker.
“Look, I know wrestling is full of tough matches, tough competition, but you get a 1-1, low-scoring match and lose by an escape, that’s frustrating,” said the Husker 197-pound junior from Raymond Central.
“I came away from my match with Morgan McIntosh (No. 1 from top-ranked Penn State) with a lot of stuff that showed me I’ve made progress,” Studebaker said. “And if I get a chance to wrestle him again, I’ll try something new.”
The season has no let up for the Huskers and Studebaker.
