If you watched the Red-White Spring Game, you saw Armstrong was the team's most dangerous runner. There's your overriding takeaway. He ran six times for 120 yards and a touchdown. Granted, he operated against exclusively backups. Still, the 6-foot-1, 220-pound senior looked fast and powerful — even more so than previous years.

It's been said Armstrong reported to spring camp in perhaps the best condition of his college career, which is saying a mouthful, because he's always in good condition. At any rate, perhaps that explains his apparent improvement as a runner.
