"I thought Scott Frost would come in and we'd see some immediate improvements with a roster that maybe wasn't a perfect fit for his system," John said. "I thought he could get this thing going a little bit right away and then the Big Ten coaches would adjust and maybe he would plateau after a couple years, maybe similar to what Jim Harbaugh did at Michigan in Year One and then was struggling a bit in Year Three.
