You knew Nebraska wouldn't march up and down the field Saturday night against Wisconsin's top-10 defense.
Even so, NU offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf lamented the Huskers' lack of consistency — which, of course, has become a familiar refrain.
"At times when we really needed to put a drive together, we had some bad three-and-outs," he said after the Badgers' 23-17 overtime victory.
Langsdorf's objective is to settle the offense into a rhythm. But let's face it, Nebraska has struggled during the past four games as injuries and spotty quarterback play conspired against the Huskers, who nonetheless take a 7-1 record (4-1 Big Ten) into Saturday night's game at Ohio State (7-1, 4-1).
