Steven M. Sipple: In discussing Frost's rugged start, Moos sheds light on management style

Bill Moos has encountered his share of challenges since being named Nebraska's athletic director last Oct. 15.

He immediately tackled what he calls a "football situation," firing head coach Mike Riley and hiring Scott Frost. Moos then set about restructuring Nebraska's top-level administrative hierarchy to streamline communication. All the while, he's made it a point to be accessible to media and Husker fans throughout the state. He tells you that with a large measure of pride. He wants people to understand his vision and share who he is.

Lately, he's dealt with a largely unforeseen challenge: The Huskers' 0-6 start to the football season.
