Bill Moos has encountered his share of challenges since being named Nebraska's athletic director last Oct. 15.
He immediately tackled what he calls a "football situation," firing head coach Mike Riley and hiring Scott Frost. Moos then set about restructuring Nebraska's top-level administrative hierarchy to streamline communication. All the while, he's made it a point to be accessible to media and Husker fans throughout the state. He tells you that with a large measure of pride. He wants people to understand his vision and share who he is.
Lately, he's dealt with a largely unforeseen challenge: The Huskers' 0-6 start to the football season.
