Nebraska freshman quarterback Adrian Martinez has completed 66.3 percent of his passes this season, which is of great interest to Joe Ganz.
After all, Ganz in 2008 set the school record for single-season completion percentage at 67.86.
Statistics aside, Ganz possesses strong interest in what's going on these days at his alma mater, particularly at the quarterback position.
"Martinez is going to be a nightmare for Big Ten teams going forward," said Ganz, the quarterbacks coach at Youngstown State.
Former Nebraska quarterback greats Eric Crouch and Taylor Martinez made glowing comments about Martinez last week, which I wrote in a column for our Friday editions.
