"It used to be the other way around," the Nebraska junior running back said Wednesday. "But I figured out if you're talking about yourself too much, you're not doing something right. If everybody else is talking about you, you know you're doing something right."
A transfer from Arizona Western Community College, Bell is doing plenty right. His emphasis on improved pass blocking is paying off this month during preseason camp. As for running the ball, he smiles as he tells reporters what style of plays he likes most.
Bell found the end zone in Saturday's scrimmage, scoring on 10-yard run.
