The start to the conference volleyball season for Nebraska is really something — the Huskers could play against three top-five ranked teams in their first four league matches — but that schedule also isn’t a complete shock when you play in the best volleyball conference in the nation.
The Huskers start the Big Ten Conference season Friday playing at second-ranked Penn State. After a trip to Rutgers on Saturday, No. 14 Nebraska will host No. 1 Minnesota and No. 5 Wisconsin next week.
If Nebraska (7-3) wins a few of those matches, they’ll be right back in a two-month chase for another Big Ten championship after winning the conference last season.
