Dropped passes, wind and snow, and a few defensive lapses made for a very frustrated Michigan State football team Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
The drops, seven in total and two in the red zone, kept the Spartans from scoring. The wind and snow worked against the struggling Michigan State offense and the lapses were just enough to allow Nebraska to kick three fourth-quarter field goals and take a 9-6 win.
“I’m frustrated about points,” Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said. “The play-calling was fine. We’ve got to execute. There’s an execution factor that’s involved here. Some of it is weather.
