Behind another strong Friday performance in the circle from Jablonski, the Nebraska softball team held on for a 4-3 victory on a cold and damp night at Bowlin Stadium.
Jablonski threw her fifth complete game in nearly two weeks. The latest outing included seven strikeouts and zero earned runs.
But Northwestern, which trailed 4-0 entering the sixth inning, made things interesting late. The Wildcats, aided by two Husker fielding errors, scored three runs in the sixth, including two on a double from Morgan Nelson that barely grazed the top of Knighten's glove and popped into dead-ball territory beyond foul ground in left field.
