The AVCA announced its all-region college volleyball teams on Tuesday, and six of the 14 players on the North region team play for Nebraska.
Nebraska’s Mikaela Foecke, Briana Holman, Kelly Hunter, Kadie Rolfzen, Amber Rolfzen and Justine Wong-Orantes were each chosen.
Nebraska's John Cook was named the coach of the year for the region after leading the Huskers to a 27-2 regular season record, the Big Ten Conference championship and the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
