Lincoln – Six members of the Nebraska men’s basketball team were honored this week, as they were named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.
Student-athletes earned a spot on the honor roll by posting a 3.00 or better GPA during the fall semester.
The group was headlined by senior forward Shavon Shields, who made his seventh consecutive appearance on the honor roll, and freshman guard Johnny Truebood, who was one of 38 Husker student-athletes across all sports with a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall.
Other Huskers on the fall honor roll include Tanner Borchardt, Michael Jacobson, Jack McVeigh and Glynn Watson Jr.
