Senior Maddie Simon will lead a trio of Nebraska women's basketball graduates at spring commencement on Saturday at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.
Simon, a 6-2 senior forward out of Lincoln Pius X High School, earns her bachelor's degree as a communication studies major from Nebraska. The only Husker senior to compete throughout the 2018-19 season, Simon played in all 30 games with 16 starts. She closed her four-year career with 709 points, 336 rebounds and 133 assists in 108 games played with 48 starts.
Off the court she was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, a five-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll recipient and a four-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
