That likely doesn’t bode very well for Shields, who has been hoping to use these games in order to convince an NBA team to take a flyer on him. The former Husker player is currently on the Orlando Blue, one of two teams owned and run by the Orlando Magic.
The Blue have had some offensive problems in this shortened season, not having scored more than 70 points in a game yet as they are 0-2. In the first game of this session, Shields got some of the most playing time on the team but he didn’t see the court on Monday afternoon.
