It hasn’t always been pretty, but the Nebraska men's basketball team's 3-1 record ties the program's best start under head coach Fred Hoiberg.
Now, Hoiberg and the Huskers head to Orlando, the site of the ESPN Events Invitational. A big test awaits.
“This tournament is a great opportunity to learn about ourselves and play three very good quality opponents,” Hoiberg said Tuesday.
The Huskers head south seeking their first win against a Power Five opponent, and they'll get that chance right off the bat against Oklahoma on Thursday.
Nebraska will need to be sharp across the board, but eliminating the Sooners' second-chance opportunities would go a long way in an effort to start the tournament in the win column.
