Part time Nebraska head football coach Scott Frost has been award the Associated Press Coach of the year for 2017. This is his third award of such nature this season. He recently won the FWAA Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award and the American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year Award.

This is a huge honor for a coach who brought a team that was 0-12 two years ago to an undefeated 13-0 this season and the school’s first New Years Six bowl game.

Scott is currently recruiting for Nebraska while also coaching the University of Central Florida football team for their bowl game on January 1st against Auburn.
