Three games into the season and coming off a blowout loss to Michigan, Scott Frost stated the obvious as his team began preparations for Purdue.
“We've got off to a bad start in all three games,” the Nebraska coach said. “Really that starts in the summer, it starts in the weight room, it starts everywhere. When it’s time to work out, run the first sprint, do the first rep of lifting, you’ve got to be ready to go.”
Nebraska had the ball first against Colorado and Michigan, but two promising drives stalled due to turnovers. The Huskers won the toss and deferred against Troy even though Frost is notorious for taking the ball when he gets the chance.
