A versatile 6-foot-9 forward, Copeland announced Sunday he will return for his senior season with the Nebraska men's basketball team.

A transfer from Georgetown, Copeland last season averaged 12.9 points and 6.1 rebounds, both averages ranking second on the team. He shot 47.2 percent from the field, including 36.9 from three-point range, for a Nebraska team that finished 22-11 overall and 13-5 in the Big Ten. But the Huskers bowed out of the Big Ten Tournament after just one game, a 19-point loss to Michigan, before losing to Mississippi State in the first round of the NIT.

"They're great kids, first of all," Miles said.
