For now, part-time Kelly Hunter is better than no Kelly Hunter.
The senior All-America setter and captain for the Nebraska volleyball team played her first two matches of the season Friday.
Last week, the Huskers lost both matches to start the year, coming against two ranked teams in Florida. But with Hunter back, the Huskers got a shot of confidence and won twice Friday in the Ameritas Players Challenge.
Friday evening was especially good. Nebraska swept Oral Roberts 25-8, 25-16, 25-10. Hunter and redshirt freshman Hunter Atherton combined to set the Huskers to a .576 hitting percentage.
