“I don’t know,” Riley said.
OK, not the ideal situation to begin a shortened week of practice for a rivalry game with a divisional championship possibly at stake.
Yet as he always is, Riley was calm, realistic, forthright and even-keeled when discussing his team’s precarious quarterback situation as Nebraska (9-2, 6-2 Big Ten Conference) prepares to finish the regular season Friday at Iowa (7-4, 5-3).
