Nebraska will be facing the undefeated Minnesota Golden Gophers this Saturday night...but if not for some fourth quarter magic, the Gophers just as easily have a losing record in 2019. In the season opener, Minnesota trailed Division 1-AA South Dakota State until Mohammed Ibrahim’s touchdown run with under six minutes left in the game. The Jackrabbits outgained the Gophers 367-308 and had six more first downs that Minnesota. A week later against Fresno State, the Gophers tied the game with a 20 yard touchdown pass from Tanner Morgan to Chris Autman-Bell on 4th and 13 with 46 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime, with the Gophers hanging on for a 38-35 double-overtime victory.
