Reports: Lee to start Saturday at Penn State

Tanner Lee is set to start against Penn State on Saturday afternoon at Beaver Stadium, one week after he was knocked out of a game and into concussion protocol.

Head coach Mike Riley gave that update on the redshirt junior, who has started each of NU's 10 games this season, to television reporters when the team arrived in State College, Pennsylvania, per Channel 8 News and 1011 News.

Lee suffered the injury, which led to what medical staff described as an "impact migraine," late in the second quarter at Minnesota last weekend. Redshirt freshman Patrick O'Brien played the second half of NU's 54-21 loss then and would have made his first start -- in front of 21 family members, no less -- if Lee had not been able to play.
