Nebraska entered Saturday night’s Big Ten West showdown with No. 9 Wisconsin with newly available options in the secondary.
The Huskers came out of it with seemingly more questions than answers.
They expected to mix and match more on the back end than in recent weeks. After all, senior safety Joshua Kalu (hamstring) and senior cornerback Chris Jones (knee) each received medical clearance to play against the Badgers.
“I talked a little bit about it earlier this week just about their presence,” outside linebacker Luke Gifford said. “When you have players like that, that are that high profile player and they carry that swag with them.
