Red Report: Three starters out for NIU; sickness strikes football team; Eichorst on Riley's extension

As Mike Riley ran down the Nebraska injury list with reporters Thursday evening a Memorial Stadium, he at one point couldn’t help but interject an observation.

Riley confirmed Thursday evening that the Huskers will be without a trio of starters on Saturday against Northern Illinois at Memorial Stadium.

Sophomore running back Tre Bryant (knee), senior safety Joshua Kalu (hamstring) and senior right tackle David Knevel (ankle) will all miss the game due to injury.
