Red Report: Taylor a 'dog'; best Thursday; Martinez brace-free

Husker fans have already seen a good amount of freshman corner Cam Taylor, and they can expect to see much more over the final five games.

Taylor, a converted high school quarterback, has appeared in six games for NU and played maybe his most extensive regular role against Minnesota. If the opportunity arises, perhaps he plays a lot against Bethune-Cookman.

“Cam is a dog,” secondary coach Travis Fisher said this week. “He’s doing everything we ask him to do and he’s been like that since he got in here. He’s a tough football player, he’s a grinder, he’s very competitive.
