Red Report: Ruud anticipates strong Ohio State ground game despite Buckeyes' recent woes

Nebraska inside linebackers coach Barrett Ruud is aware of Ohio State's futility in the run game in its last three outings.

During that period, the Buckeyes have carried 105 times for only 322 yards, or 3.1 per rush. In those three games, they defeated Indiana and Minnesota and lost to Purdue.

"It's hard to say," he said following Tuesday's practice as the Huskers geared for Saturday's game against the eighth-ranked Buckeyes. "I do know that I saw what they did in the first three games of the year, and they looked like a different team. I'm anticipating they're going to be much more similar to when they played Oregon State and TCU early in the season.
