There is no one person carrying the director's title of the whole shebang like the past two years. Coaching Nebraska's special teams was even something of a group project when Bruce Read was around, but it's even more so that way now.
"Just about everybody (on staff) has a part," Husker head coach Mike Riley said after Saturday's practice, the fourth of 15 this spring.
Riley offered a quick rundown on where some assistants were focusing their attention:
* Linebackers coach Trent Bray is leading the punt team, and will be assisted by safeties coach Bob Elliott and grad assistant/tight ends coach Tavita Thompson.
