Nebraska's seventh spring practice was, by all accounts, productive considering it came after a nine-day spring-break layoff.
"I think they did a great job," sophomore quarterback Adrian Martinez said. "It’s tough when you have spring break right in the middle of spring ball, but we responded well. We brought the energy, the defense challenged us today and we had good competition out there. We’re excited to be back."
Martinez spent break in Gulf Shores, Alabama, with a group of 8-10 teammates and said the group regularly talked about making sure they got back to Lincoln in the right frame of mind.
