Reggie Davis paused a couple beats when asked after Thursday's practice if he was hoping to have one workhorse running back or a committee approach by the fall.
"Yeah," he said, laughing. "We'll see. I think we've got a good problem right now. We've got a good problem. We've got three really good backs."
Those three backs are senior Terrell Newby, and sophomores Devine Ozigbo and Mikale Wilbon, who the running backs coach thinks is developing a "greater understanding" of things than last year.
Offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf said NU coaches feel good about their zone running game and noted that the draw game is coming along.
