Well, it's been a while since the Nebraska Cornhuskers had a verbal commitment, but the signal went out earlier this afternoon.
The Huskers got a verbal today from Arizona Western CC Linebacker William Johnson. Johnson, who originally hails from Coral Springs HS in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Johnson got his Nebraska offer on Saturday and took advantage of it immediately. He also sports offers from Washington State, Florida Atlantic, and South Alabama.
In his only season for Arizona Western, he had 50 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.
While Johnson isn't got a big offer sheet, the fact is that Nebraska could use another guy in what appears to be a 4 to play 3 type of scenario.
