The Nebraska football team has been on a recruiting roll lately. On Tuesday, Mississippi State’s offer to recent Cornhusker commit Desmond Bland reminded all of us that we’re far from the finish line.
Bland, considered one of, if not the top JUCO lineman in the 2019 class, announced his heart belonged to the Huskers on Friday. That announcement came shortly after a grad transfer commit from Vaha Vainuku to play on the defensive line.
Bland and Vainuku’s commitments, which came very close together through no apparent planning of the players apparently started a bit of a tidal wave for the Cornhuskers athletic program.
