Really long flight helped Nebraska women's basketball team get Australian player

There are more losses for college basketball coaches in recruiting than wins. The best players have a lot of schools recruiting themand can choose only one.

The Nebraska women’s basketball team recently signed its next class of three recruits who will join the Huskers for next season.

Forward Isabelle Bourne, part of that next class of recruits, felt like a big win because of how the coaches feel about her as a player and a person, as well as the effort it took to land her.

Bourne is from Canberra, Australia, in the southeast part of the country.
