Sophomore receiver JD Spielman is day-to-day and has been limited in practice this week, Nebraska offensive coordinator Troy Walters said Wednesday.
Spielman suffered a lower leg injury on a fourth-quarter punt return against Illinois.
Spielman's presence - he's had at least five catches in each of Nebraska's last seven games - would obviously be a boon for Nebraska's offense against a Michigan State defense that ranks among the best in the nation.
The fortunate thing for Spielman and the Huskers, Walters said, is that Spielman is very familiar with Nebraska's scheme and can afford to miss reps during the week.
