Rapid Reaction: Moos: Akron tickets will be reissued; 12th game remains fluid

Nebraska director of athletics Bill Moos addressed the media in person Wednesday for the first time since Saturday's game against Akron was cancelled.

Moos said he and Akron AD Larry Williams "who's a classy guy and a good AD, I thought we had a very good dialogue."

Moos said the decision was ultimately left up to Akron, and the Zips decided against it.

"Scott (Frost) felt like he wanted to play, and the players wanted to play (Sunday). That's the message I was getting," Moos said.

Early in discussions with Akron, Moos said, Williams was confident the Zips would be able to secure hotel rooms for Saturday night.
