Nebraska offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf spoke with reporters after practice Tuesday and discussed where he thinks improvement will come from, the smoke in Oregon and returning to Eugene, Oregon, where he coached several times as an Oregon State assistant.
* Langsdorf wasn't happy with the offense's penalties against Arkansas State on Saturday night and, particularly, with the inability to extend a pair of fourth quarter drives.
"We needed a first down," Langsdorf said. "We had a third-and-4 that we were in good shape in and we blow a protection. He throws one low and it was, I think it was a good play, it was a three-man rush and we got hurried, which is silly with a five-man protection.
