Scott Frost on Thursday morning confirmed that freshman tight end/offensive lineman Cameron Jurgens broke his right foot on Monday during practice.

Jurgens, a Beatrice native, is moving to offensive line to play center in the future, but now will be out several weeks.

Frost also confirmed injuries among several other true freshmen who are already tracking toward redshirt seasons including defensive linemen Casey Rogers and Tate Wildeman and safety Cam'Ron Jones.

Frost said not all four are out for the season necessarily, but that all will miss extended time.
