Jaimes has made 24 consecutive starts for Nebraska, but if Bando is needed against the Illini, he'll be ready, offensive coordinator Troy Walters said.
"He did a great job Saturday night. Came in, did what was asked of him, so we're very confident in him," Walters said of Bando. "We feel like we have depth. We feel like, when a guy goes down we have the next man up mentality, and he stepped in and did a great job Saturday.
