Leading the group was cornerback Lamar Jackson, who was benched in the second quarter of the Purdue game before earning back his starting spot, and eventually one of the coveted black jerseys.
"He's doing the things off the field we want him to do," NU defensive coordinator Erik Chinander said. "Embracing the culture that Coach Frost is creating, embracing his job in the defense and some of the technique.
