Scott Frost made no bones about his excitement level regarding his football team on Wednesday, near the midpoint of Nebraska's spring work.
"I'm not just happy, I'm thrilled," Frost said when asked about how Nebraska's come back to work this week after being off for spring break last week.
Frost said it's a sign of a mature football team and a group that understands what it wants to accomplish.
Frost said sophomore running back Maurice Washington has been kept on as close to a normal schedule as possible since he returned from a court appearance in California earlier this month.
