On a Zoom call, Frost was straightforward in what he and his players want.
"The players want to play, the coaches want to coach," Frost said in his opening remarks. "We want to represent the University of Nebraska."
Frost estimated that Nebraska could lose $80-$120 million if the Huskers don't play football this fall, and the city of Lincoln could lose "upwards of $300 million if we don't play."
The coach also said NU's players feel safe and taken care of, and that they want to play.
"If we cancel football tomorrow, we're throwing up a white flag and saying 'this can't be done,'" Frost said.
