KAYLA WOLF, Journal StarDefensive coordinator Erik Chinander and several other defensive assistants met with the media Thursday after Nebraska’s sixth practice of the spring.
Chinander said Thursdays’s workout didn’t reach the level of Tuesday’s, which was more of a competition day.
“I thought the energy was a little better on Tuesday, and was a little less today. So we need to ramp that back up,” Chinander said. The kids need to understand that it doesn’t matter if it’s competition, scrimmage, whatever’s going on, it’s always on the line.
