A week ago, Scott Frost was preparing Central Florida for the American Athletic Conference title game against Memphis.
Six days later, four-star, dual-threat quarterback Adrian Martinez arrived in Lincoln for his Nebraska official visit, offered and invited by the same coach who helped the Knights win that wild game in a different time zone, a different conference, essentially a different world.
Since then, Frost has flown to Lincoln, offered Martinez a scholarship, been officially introduced as the new Husker head coach, hired a staff, sent quarterbacks coach Mario Verduzco to see Martinez in Fresno, California, and helped move up his official visit date a week to this weekend.
