Several Huskers made an impact in Week 17 of the 2019 NFL season.
Lavonte David (Buccaneers) made headlines on Saturday, recording his 1,000th career tackle in the first minutes of the game against the Falcons. With his first tackle of the day, David became one of six active NFL players with 1,000 tackles in a career and he is just the fourth Buccaneer in program history to reach 1,000 tackles.
David also joined Ray Lewis in the record books, becoming only the second player in NFL history to record 1,000 tackles, 20.0 sacks and 10 interceptions through eight seasons since sacks became an official stat in 1982.
