Several former Huskers made an impact in the NFL this weekend.
Brett Maher made headlines on Sunday, booting home a 42-yard game winner as time expired to put the Cowboys on top for the 22-19 victory over the Falcons. In all, Maher contributed 10 points in the victory and successfully converted all three of his field goal attempts. He made field goals from 21 yards, 50 yards and the 42-yard game winner. Maher also converted on his lone extra point attempt of the day.
Maher was not the only former Husker making plays on special teams. Sam Koch punted four times for 157 yards and averaged 39.
