A total of 14 former Huskers saw action in Week 11 of the National Football League, with performances highlighted by Ameer Abdullah's touchdown reception in Detroit's win over Chicago on Sunday.
Abdullah caught a two yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford 20 seconds before halftime to give the Lions a 21-17 lead, and they would hang on for a 27-24 win. The third-year running back totaled 22 yards on the ground and 13 yards receiving.
Niles Paul converted a fake punt for a first down for Washington on Sunday, while also catching two passes for 11 yards.
