Nebraska football writer Parker Gabriel offers his extra points from the Huskers' 9-6 senior day win over Michigan State on Saturday.
Turning point: Senior safety Antonio Reed came free on a blitz off Michigan State quarterback Rocky Lombardi’s right side and smashed into him, forcing a fumble that sophomore nose tackle Damion Daniels fell on at the MSU 20 with 10 minutes, 9 seconds remaining in the game. The Huskers didn’t get into the end zone but tied the game on a Barret Pickering field goal moments later.
It was over when: Senior running back Devine Ozigbo picked up the last of his hard-earned 74 rushing yards.
